Sony Pictures Imageworks
The Entire rig System is created using Python and MEL scripts, and the Pipeline is on SVN. Gaining the face rigging experience at Sony has given me a lot of insight about how fast and functioning rigging can be. The face shapes and skinning were a fun to learn, in the film's style and they provided an incredible base for me to learn more deeply about the flexibility in the rigging world.

A complete Python based pipeline and freedom to play around with cool rigs, my rigging experience was truly enhanced here. I got a chance to study Quadruped anatomy deeply while working on this project. I also made a deep dive into cleaning my skinning techniques, working around corrective blend shapes and masking to get the best muscle shapes. I got a chance to write more elaborated python scripts here and rely more on soft coded scripts so that they are more widely usable. Integrating spline ribbon rig setups to make stretchy but hard surface rigs work was the greatest challenge. It worked and yet again I learned the wonders of rigging!

A change to work on 4 different projects, all in different styles. This studio was the building block of my career. With learning cool rigging techniques such as ik/fk limb switching, skinning principles, joint angles and correct positioning, as well as learning how to work on skirt rigs, learning about distance math calculator to trigger blend shapes at the right time. And a lot more!

Personal Project - Ladybug
The LadyBug rig is made in collaboration with an award winning 3D artist - Syed Hassam Jafri. The rig is freely available to explore and play around with. This rig features speal wings rig, which can fold inside the wing shell. Also the 6 limbs have ik/fk switches and the rest of the body boasts a very easy to animate fk setup.
The rig was also featured in an indie music video and can be seen flying around beautifully.
